2D Drawing and 3D Model Help

Not sure how to use our 2D drawings or 3D models? It's not too complicated, and you'll be able to design your space with all Krost products! If you need a hand don't hesitate to give us a call on 02 9557 3055 or send us an email at info@krost.com.au.

3D Models

Our 3D drawings are in SketchUp's (.skp) format, so you'll need SketchUp to open them. Thankfully, it's free, just follow these 5 steps:

 
  1. Download SketchUp here
  2. Follow the prompts to install SketchUp on your computer
  3. Click the '3D model' or 'Download 3D' link on our website
  4. Open the .zip file and it should extract our SketchUp file
  5. Open the .skp file and the product range you downloaded will open in SketchUp
  Future-3D

2D Drawings

Our 2D Drawings are in (.dwg) format as CAD blocks. AutoCAD will do a great job reading these files. However, if you don't have AutoCAD and don't want to spend the money on it, a great free CAD program that we highly recommend is DraftSight (download it here).

     
    1. Click the '2D drawing' or 'Download '2D' link on our website
    2. Open the .dwg file
    3. The full range will open in your CAD application and you'll be able to copy and paste it into all your own drawings
